Scooniehill Group of the Riding for Disabled Association operates in the East Fife Area in Scotland. We currently have nearly 50 riders and 60 volunteer helpers. Our riders are of all ages. Most have learning disabilities and many have physical disabilities as well.
The group rides at Kilconquhar Castle Equestrian Centre near Elie. The estate of Kilconquhar Castle provides beautiful countryside for us to ride in, and also has an outdoor school for more structured lessons.

The group has been running for 35 years in various locations and emphasises the fun and friendship of RDA for both riders and volunteers. We are fortunate to have several well-qualified instructors who, with the help of the volunteers, assist the riders to gain the maximum benefit from their regular riding sessions.
